Hello long time fans of Hunter,
It is with profound sadness to advise you of the passing of
Karl Plattner yesterday.
He was arguably the last of the Slutzky era icons that helped
make Hunter what it is today and most likely had a hand in teaching many of you
how to enjoy the sport as the founder and long time head of Hunter’s ski school.
He was also honored by the Austrian government as an
ambassador of that country.
