Hunter has lost another icon.
It is with great sorrow & sadness to
advise you that my friend and neighbor, Walter Higgins, founder & owner of
Ma Ma’s Pizza passed away yesterday at 72.
He had been shoveling snow & ice for his
girlfriend at the condo complex on Rt. 40 in Maplecrest trying to free a frozen
6 x 6 beam.
He was walking back to his truck to get a
sledge hammer when he had a heart attack and dropped to the ground next to his
truck.
As many of you know his son, Alan, now runs
the pizza shop and is the Mayor of The Village of Hunter.
No further details are available at this time.
