Hi All,
Tonight's storm according to RIP97 is expected to
bring 1 - 3 inches of wet snow (a nuisance) as we expect to be in the far
northwest corner of it. It will be gone by the weekend as warmer temps (low
50's) roll in.
The good news (spoke to mgmt today) is that the
extended forecast for November calls for cold weather and Hunter expects to be
open for skiing (limited) Thanksgiving week. The equipment will be tested this
week. This would be the first season in 3 that we will be open before December.
The mtn tops are all frosted white!
Better get your skis and bodies tuned
up!
Gas here is plentiful & no lines @ $3.79/ gal.
- cheaper than in Catskill or Albany - how about that!
Ski ya real soon,
Jon
