Hunter Feb 17

Hi All,
Spring is here for another day or two. Now 54 up from 30 this am with a high cloud cover and light breeze. Skiing was good early on the front side and later am on the west before it all turned to sticky slush by noon - thanks again GM. Even fresh wax for warm snow was of no help. Crowds again were very light. The ice around here is finally melting in this heat wave.
The following was posted by Hunter for Saturday:
Third Rail, one of our most-loved bands starts at 4pm and will be cranking out your favorite tunes.

We'll light up the sky again at 7pm with a grand fireworks show.

Remember... the base lodge is BYOF (bring your own food) friendly after 4pm. That's right - we encourage you to bring a dish or two and set up your own party inside the base lodge and dance the night away. The Sushi Hunter sushi bar and Santini's Pizza will be open all night long too. **But please note that no outside alcohol is allowed within the base lodge.**

I heard that forecast high winds on Saturday pm could cause the fireworks to be postponed until Sunday. Should be a good crowd here for the next week so wear your flak jackets - ha!
