The calendar says spring is here but not in Hunter. We had a
dusting of snow the past 2 mornings and only 24 last night (34 now) with wind
and flurries. Most trails are still fully covered with snow.
This is to remind you all that the last
day to buy seasonal lockers and passes before a price increase of $50 is April
30, next Thursday. Yep – they want your money early!
My sources tell me that over 4,000 tickets have been pre-sold
for the Tap NY just for tomorrow, Saturday. The weather will be cool and
windy:

The new Hunter Brewery is open Wed thru Sun from 5 pm and
I can tell you the menu and food are excellent! You get a lot for the money.
Happy hour is 5 to 7. There are 20 beers on tap plus many bottles to choose from
and a full assortment of liquors. The décor and view are exceptional – catch a
spectacular sunset as you dine.
Van Winkles at the KMC is closed on Tuesdays until July
7.
