Hunter March 30

Hello Hunter fans,
Finally a great spring ski day in spring. Today is what its all about! Fun ego snow, soft, groomed, no clouds, no wind, no crowds and the Flyer running fine. (It had electrical problems yesterday that kept it down for over an hour in the am) The overnight temp dipped to 18 but by 10 am it was 35 and now 45. Heading back out to the sun deck to catch some rare rays. Claire's, White Cloud, Upper K and Apurna all closed but the rest of the mountain was terrific - especially Cliff / Racer's. There are some very thin and bare spots developing in the usual areas but a new storm forecast should well take care of that. Hunter has posted the following and no, it is not my usual April Fools forecast - this is the real deal from Mother Nature folks:

QUOTE:
Ready? 8-14 inches of snow coming FRIDAY! We've got a winter storm watch from Accuweather , and we are gearing up for some serious late spring powder!

That said, we are moving Pondskimming to April 9. So put your wet suit away for another week, and get out your midwinter gear!!

Should be real interesting and fun.
Ski ya,
Jon
