Hunter April 1 (Fools Day)

Hi All,
It seems Mother Nature pulled a big April fools joke on Hunter. After all the dire storm predictions, we got at most, 2" of wet snow that didn't even coat paved surfaces and the temp is already 34 - 35 at 9:15 am - a real non-event!! It is still snowing lightly with no wind and visibility is brightening.

Today: Snow likely before noon, then rain and snow likely between noon and 2pm, then rain likely after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 38. North wind between 8 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total daytime snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Tonight: Snow showers likely, mainly before 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind between 11 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Saturday: A chance of snow showers before 10am, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers between 10am and noon, then a slight chance of rain showers after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. West wind between 11 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Saturday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 10pm, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. West wind between 9 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 44. Northwest wind between 10 and 17 mph.
