Hi All,
There was a multiple alarm fire last night
that destroyed part of the Copper Tree kitchen in the west wing of the base
lodge.
It started in a compressor above a freezer and
created a lot of smoke damage.

The snow guns have been making substantial
snow on the main line and Minya Konka. The temp this am was 19 with no wind.
Mixed rain & snow changing to all rain expected tomorrow as temps climb into
the 40’s.
I have not heard of a definite opening day
however it will be latest this coming weekend.
There will be no sushi bar this season in the
lodge. They plan a NY style deli instead on the balcony where the sushi bar used
to be.
