Hunter skiing Feb 17

Wow - 10" of light powder. It was fun while it lasted but was quickly trashed by the early powder hounds. All slopes were semi-groomed except Apurna, Claire's, Racer's, K27 & 42nd St. Temps hung in the 20's most of the day and only now about 32 with light flurries. The sun wasn't out but visibility was good most of the time and there were some periods of very flat light. Crowds were surprisingly light with little or no quad line. All lifts were operating normally. Skiing did become bumpy by late morning as the clumps of powder got packed down. It will stay cold at night and good grooming should make for a great Thursday & Friday.
Ski ya,
Jon
